Ni'ya

Ni'ya is a Polynesian faerie, hand sculpted WITHOUT the use of any molds. She has been made using Prosculpt polymer clay over a strong wire armature. Her skin tone and facial features have been hand painted in oil paint.

She is costumed in hand-dyed silk illusion and flowers taken from a piece of antique lace. Faux cloisonné leaves compliment the ensemble perfectly. Her translucent wings have also been hand painted in artist's oils.

Her subtle sun streaked hair is from Tibetan mohair.

Ni'ya stands on a base made from cherry wood, which has been embellished with agate chips and semi-precious gemstone powders in a mixture of green aventurine garnet and agate.

As you can see, I have used the finest materials in her construction. All of these are natural substances, totally befitting a fae such as herself.

Ni'ya is exactly 8 1/2 inches tall. Her wingspan is a shade over 6 inches.
