Tavern Tales

I am working (well, have stopped for a while now..) on a medieval tavern setting. I include some pictures of this work in progress. The complete tavern, including all it's items, has been handcrafted by me. A wonderful way to try out techniques and effects.

These fellows are going to have a great time in the tavern. As soon as they have someone to serve them. And they should get some medieval clothing too..

Phew.. They managed to get some clothes. But they want more food and the guy on the left would like some books to read. A serving wench will come soon to pour some ale (even though the one on the right had quite enough already..)

They say there is a little urchin hanging around at the loft, but I haven't seen him yet. Also, the innkeeper is about to arrive..

A cheerful old man. Likes to be in the tavern.  It was a pleasure to work on his hands.

Our man is the narrator of tavern tales. He is also known for his Canterbury Tales.

Anyone for footsie?

He managed to get dressed. But he fell asleep again soon after.

Oops.. What has happened? This old woman came in, and she is not happy! An urchin has stolen some things from the kitchen!

Just wait until she gets her hands on that one.. If I were that urchin, I wouldn't come down that ladder! Well, if you can keep a secret.. He is not in the tavern yet. But he will be, soon. And then he'll be in trouble!
